Summary

US EV Charging Stations does not require an account and does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Station search runs from files hosted with the site. The Near Me tool performs distance calculations in your browser.

Location information

The Near Me page asks your browser for location only after you select the location button. If you approve, coordinates remain in the current browser tab and are used to load nearby station-data files and rank results. We do not receive or store those coordinates on an application server.

When the interactive map is displayed, your browser requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap. As with most web requests, that provider may receive an IP address, browser information, referring page, and the geographic tile area requested. Review the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary server logs, including IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or user-agent information, referring page, and error or security events. These records may be used to operate, secure, diagnose, and measure the service and retained according to the host’s configuration.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not currently set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. Search filters and calculator inputs are not saved by us. Third-party destinations you choose to open—including OpenStreetMap, Google Maps, Pexels, charging networks, and cited sources—apply their own policies.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information. Operational request data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host, deliver, or protect the site, or disclosed when legally required.

Your choices

You may decline location permission and browse by state, city, connector, or search instead. Browser settings let you revoke a previously granted location permission. You may also block third-party map content, although maps will then be unavailable.

Children

This general-audience directory is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
