Access for everyone
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Our goal
We aim to make this directory usable across modern browsers, keyboards, screen readers, zoom levels, and mobile devices, following WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical target.
Features
- Semantic headings, landmarks, forms, tables, lists, and breadcrumbs.
- A skip link and visible keyboard focus.
- Text alternatives for editorial images and labels for map and calculator controls.
- High-contrast text and status colors that are not the only source of meaning.
- Core state, city, and station information that remains available without JavaScript.
Known limitations
Interactive maps and external services may have accessibility behavior outside our control. The Near Me tool requires browser geolocation and JavaScript, but users can browse all station pages by state and city or use text search instead. Third-party station data may contain abbreviations or address formatting we have not authored.
Feedback
If something prevents you from using the site, email accessibility@usevchargingstations.com. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, the browser or assistive technology used if comfortable sharing it, and the format or assistance that would help.
